Jacksonville Florida real estate for sale

If you are on this page then you are planning on selling property in Florida more specifically either in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach or the surrounding areas.  Perhaps you are upgrading to a larger house, condominium, or mobile home.  Perhaps you are selling your property in order to acquire a smaller one.  You may have decided to get out of "home ownership" at this time because of the market and news affecting your investment or perhaps you are contemplating renting for a while.  Whatever your reasons for selling your real estate we are here to help you with the selling process.

While you visit our site take the time to look at our Flat fee MLS options, our seller assist programs and at our real estate services outlined in our marketing plan.

Now let us take a moment and mention some of the reasons why many stay in northeast Florida, move into our area, and buy real estate in this corner of the state.

Florida's geography and climate work together to provide pleasant surroundings for retirees, new families, or anyone looking for fun under the sun.  It should not come as a surprise that Florida and specifically  North Florida (Jacksonville and surrounding areas) have become popular places to vacation, to move into the area and finally for some a great area to retire.  The mild climate zone allows flowers and greenery to thrive even in midwinter and encourage year round outdoor activities.  Winter in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach or St. Augustine are a little warmer than southern Georgia and Alabama.  During the summer humidity may be high in some parts of Florida but there is almost always a breeze, air pollution is virtually nonexistent and temperatures rarely for above the mid-90s on the hottest days anywhere in the state.

Another feature of Florida that attracts visitors and new people in the the area is that no part of the state is far from the water and the state offers many fine beaches to the locals and visitors alike.

As you come across the Georgia border, Amelia Island is the first section of the North Florida coast that welcomes you into the area.

Amelia Island State Park is the major state park for St. Mary's, Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island.  The park has 200 acres of fine state park beaches.  Amelia Island State Park  is the only state park in Florida were you can ride horses by the sea, rented from the Kelly Seahorse Ranch at the park.

At the north end of  Jacksonville Beaches you find Hanna Park.  There are campgrounds, woods, a freshwater lake, surfing, sail boarding, fishing areas, varied swimming spots and a general store in the 400 acre park.  The park has campgrounds with electric, water and sewer hookups and is favored by RV-travelers.  It is also a well recognized park among mountain bike riders.  This is a favorite summer spot for Jacksonville, Orange Park, Baldwin, Middleburg and Maxville locals.

Guana River State park is a beach with an emphasis on nature.  This park has an observation tower that sits on one of the highest sand dunes in Florida, 40 feet above sea level, offering sweeping views of the surrounding ocean and the tidal marshes of the Tolomato and Guana Rivers.  It is the only public beach between St. Augustine and Jacksonville.  It is a favorite of  St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra locals.  This beach park has 9 miles of nature trails.  If you have a mountain bike or beach cruiser, these nature trails are a lot of fun to ride.

Finally, Anastasia State Park is located a short distance from all the colonial history of  Florida's oldest city St. Augustine.  One privilege is that beach driving is allowed in this beach.  For surfers, close to the inlet is one of the best breaks in north Florida, a spot called the "Blowhole."  The park offers sailboards for rent along with lessons.  There are also nature trails that are great for hiking.  This is a favorite state park of St. Augustine locals.
